The "Turquoise Paper: Algae: the industries of the future" now available
05/08/2011
Now available at no cost, this report, with a contribution from the Atlanpole Blue Cluster, is aimed at all players wishing to commit themselves to various current and future projects based on micro- and macro-algae, as regards energy, health, cosmetics, food, the environment, etc.
Following a national symposium on "Algae: the industries of the future" held in November 2010, which brought together all the experts in the field, Adebiotech and all its partners – the competitiveness clusters Pôles Mer Bretagne, Mer PACA, Industries & Agro-Ressources (IAR) and Trimatec; the clusters Atlanpole Blue Cluster and Algasud, the CEA, Veolia and Fermentalg – decided to continue this collaborative dynamic by drafting a report entitled the "Turquoise Paper: Algae: the industries of the future".
The report is divided into three sections:
- A summary of scientific, technical and economic knowledge of the field.
- An analysis of the two micro- and macro-algae industries.
- A roadmap summarizing the various concrete strategic proposals approved by all the players.
This constitutes an essential document for any party interested in the micro- or macro-algae industry in France.
Published by Adebiotech, the "Turquoise paper" can be downloaded from the Internet at no cost. It will also be distributed during the BioMarine Business Convention: Danielle Lando, the representative of the Adebiotech Association will be present at the Blue Cluster stand.
