Axelife is a French company, created in 2010, specialized in cardiovascular prevention. Its flagship product "pOpmètre" is a medical device allowing the diagnosis of arteriosclerosis, or accelerated aging of arteries.
pOpmètre :
– measures the speed of the pulse wave, reflecting arterial stiffness
– detects arteritis of the lower limbs (PAOD) without compressing fragile arteries
– measures the central aortic pressure, a reflection of cardiac work.
These three measurements are performed in 14 seconds.
