Eomaia is a medtech deeptech start-up that develops an innovative medical device capable of simplifying the donation of colostrum from mother to child in hospital.
Colostrum is an infinitely precious immune concentrate for children born prematurely. Often unable to breastfeed, only the manual expression of colostrum allows young mothers to collect this "liquid gold" for their infant. However, many premature babies are unfortunately deprived of this method, which is subject to numerous obstacles due to a difficult practice.
Eomaia wants to facilitate the practice of manual expression of colostrum during the maternity ward by proposing a simple, intuitive and minimalist tool capable of reducing the efforts required by young mothers and hospital staff.
