As a Nantes-headquartered company in the MedTech sector, WaveImplant develops decision support medical devices for use by surgeons. In a first intent, WaveImplant offers an innovative and proprietary ultrasonic medical device for accurate, reproducible and reliable measurement of dental implant stability upstream and downstream of implant placement, this parameter being the main determinant of the success and sustainability of these surgical procedures, which represent fast-growing markets. However, currently, 15% of dental implant placements result in significant failures for patients and dental surgeons. Beyond the launch of this first device, WaveImplant will offer 2 other devices, in orthopedics (total hip prosthesis) and in plastic surgery (rhinoplasty and osteotomies).
